BIAFO-HISPER GLACIERS TREK:
This fine but strenuous trekking of 14 days
brings you through one of the most remote and fascinating landscape in all the
Mighty Karakoram. Biafo and Hispar Glaciers are considered the longest glaciers
on earth outside the polar region. Along the route the huge basin of snow (Snow
lake) ringed by a formed by the confluence of various side glaciers with the
Biafo Glacier, spread out below. Trekking starts from the village of Askole and
lead over the Biafo Glacier, traverses the Hisper La (5151 M), and, after
crossing the Hisper Glacier, reaches Nagar in the Hunza valley. The trek is
about 121 kilometers from Askole to Nagar. The best trekking season is May to
October each year.
DAY-01-ARRIVAL: Arrival Islamabad airport

DAY-02-CHILAS: Drive to Chilas,

DAY-05-ASKOLE: Jeep drive to

DAY-06-NAMLA: Trek to Namla,

DAY-07-MANGU: Trek to Mangu
Brangsa, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-08-BAINTHA: Trek to

DAY-09-NAPINA: Trek to Napina,

DAY-10-BASE OF HISPER LA: Trek to Base of

DAY-11-FREE DAY: Free day to
explore snow lake area, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-12-KANIBASA: Today we will
cross the Hisper La (5151 M) to reach the Kanibasa, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-13-YUTMARU: Trek to
Yutmaru, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-14-BITENMAL: Trek to
Bitenmal, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-15-HISPER: Trek to Hisper
Village, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-16-HURU: Jeep drive to
Huro, o/n in tents (B/L/D).
DAY-17-KARIMABAD HUNZA: Drive
to Karimabad Hunza, o/n in hotel (B/L/D).
DAY-18-FREE DAY: Free day in
Hunza for Sight seeing, o/n in hotel (B/L/D)
DAY-19-CHILAS: Drive to Chilas,
